The Mission
The mission of Laurelville Church of God is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
The Vision
The vision of Laurelville Church of God is to create a family of authentic believers and to witness a community transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior.
Our Mission Statement
The Mission Statement is drawn from Christ's exposition of John 17:11; Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are. As a church we have identified four Core Values, which are principles which are to bring unity to the congregation, and are foundational ideals embraced by all who call the church home: Truth: The Bible is our only guide and authority, the ultimate standard by which we all should live (2 Timothy 3:16). Worship: We respond to the grace and glory of God by humbling ourselves before Him in assembly (John 4:23). Community: Our love for God is proven by the way we love one another and reach out in compassion to others in that love (Hebrews 10:23-25). Mission: Jesus came to proclaim His Word, to heal the afflicted, to set free the captive, and restore that which was once separated by sin: and we shall do so in like manner through His name (Luke 4:17-21).
